I have a strongly held belief that, by enabling communication between people all over the world, the Internet promotes understanding, breaks down cultural barriers, creates a sense of global community and may eventually contribute to an enduring world peace.
I have a husband, four kids, a boyfriend, a dog, a few cats and a bunch of close friends, all of whom I love very much.
I am currently working as a technical Vice President at an RFID company called ThingMagic (http://www.thingmagic.com). I am very active in the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) and in RFID industry standards activities.
I love peaches, and chocolate, and traveling to places I've enjoyed in the past, as well as to places I've never visited before. My favorite author is John Irving. In the summer, I grow tomatoes.
